Small Business Training

The small business training is the most favored of our 5 Star Commitment Programs. JPF has trained over 3,600 small to medium size businesses in the United States as well as U.S. territories on how to successfully do business with the federal government. Our leadership team is made up of retired Government executives and entrepreneurs that know the struggles and hurdles that small businesses encounter in doing business with the federal government. JPF’s goal is to break down the barriers that small businesses face nationwide while growing their small businesses.

"if you don't plan in life, you may not like where you end up, but it's no one's fault but yours because you never plan to be anywhere." BJ Selmon

Curriculum & Schedule

JPF’s small business curriculum focuses on practical skills that small business managers can implement right away within their organization. Over the course of the program, small business owners will gain the skills needed to recognize new opportunities, embrace practices that increase business growth, and ultimately develop a customized growth plan for their business. The curriculum is organized into 14 modules and 5 clinics geared around small business management training, each of which includes classroom discussions, peer learning exercises, skill-building, and experiential applications. Classroom activities are complemented by an integrated portfolio of business services, including one-on-one business advice, legal and financial clinics, and networking opportunity exercises.
